Mon. 7:30 am- it's still dark, there's a chill in the air and the wind is bringing in some rain. I pull my hood up wishing I'd brought warmer clothes, it's almost impossible to escape the coldness around the docks, my hands and face turning numb as spilt flour from a loading dock hopper sticks to my shoes making white imprints on the black tarmac.
