Not Just a Wedding Photographer – Isolation Week 9

Week 9 of Isolation: May 10th – May 17th

We needed some shopping this week, so we went to our local Lidl. I sat in the car as usual, while Lauren gloved up and joined the queue. After coming out of the shop, Lauren was on the verge of a panic attack. Having a security guard outside monitoring who enters and leaves the store is one thing, but it was clear from the fear on Lauren’s face that this was not the same inside. What’s the point in the security guard if social distancing is not happening once in store? The following day we received an email from Tesco that stated we can get priority delivery, which suits us both very well.

One of the better things to come out of this pandemic, is connecting more with family members that I would usually see at weddings or funerals. We now gather weekly for a big family quiz online, and it’s the highlight of our week. So while we are all apart, we are still coming together.
