Belfast Exposed Named ARTS ORGANISATION OF THE YEAR at the Arts & Business Awards 2022

Posted on: 4th October 2022

We are absolutely delighted to have been named Arts Organisation of the Year at the 2022 Arts & Business Northern Ireland Awards!

The winners were announced last week at a ceremony at 2 Royal Avenue, Belfast. Having been shortlisted in four categories, we were named winners in the New Sponsor category – for our work with Translink on the Natural Connections initiative – before being crowned Arts Organisation of the Year at the end of the night.

As well as our awards, we were thrilled to see Jennifer Willis win the Forestside Choice Award for the Belfast Exposed exhibition Seen to Be Heard, which was shown in our Studio Gallery earlier this year and is now touring with our support.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us, worked with us and visited our spaces in the last year. None of this would have been possible without our brilliant network of audiences, partners and colleagues.

“Belfast Exposed is honoured to receive these beautiful awards, hand crafted by the amazing artist Sacha McVey. Both of our business partners -Translink and Montgomery Refrigeration – provided sponsorship and collaborative engagement. Without their support the projects could not have happened, we thank them and Arts & Business for all their support.”
