About The Exhibition

'Arts and Older People' is a project where Belfast Exposed are working in partnership with Ballybeen Women’s Centre. The photography project looks at different forms of anti social behaviour in the Ballyeen area which can leave older people isolated. Participants meet on a weekly basis and photograph around Ballybeen to show and discuss areas of concern.

Belfast Exposed are continuing to deliver the 'Arts and Older People' project, along with many other projects from our Community Engagement programme. We are contacting and engaging with participants through online and digital content, enabling the participants to enjoy a creative photographic activity and continue learning, leading to positive mental health and well-being.

Participants are now using their home and immediate surroundings as the environment in which to take their photographs. The current selection of photographs by the participants are reflecting the challenging times we are in.
