About The Exhibition

From 2010 - 2013 we worked with the Prince's Foundation for Children and the Arts on the START project, an initiative which has introduced over 1500 pupils from rural and inner city schools in Northern Ireland to the medium of photography.

From 2010 - 2013 we worked with the Prince's Foundation for Children and the Arts on START, an initiative which has introduced over 1500 pupils from rural and inner city schools in Northern Ireland to the medium of photography.

The project set out to inspire pupils who had never visited our venue before to learn and think about photography, as well as raising awareness of local art centres and building confidence when looking at and talking about exhibitions.

A children's activity book made as part of the START programme is available to buy for £2 in our gallery bookshop.
