Engagement

Our  Engagement programme aims to:

  • Support mental health and wellbeing of people across Northern Ireland, through the provision of Belfast Exposed’s therapeutic photography programme
  • Empower communities through photography as a method for supporting peace-building, driving and documenting change and growing social engagement
  • Support and empower young people using photography to assist personal development, mental health and wellbeing, skills training and career development opportunities through participation in Belfast Exposed’s Youth programme.

We encourage individuals, groups and organisations to talk to us to learn more about the programmes we offer.

Our programme of tailored therapeutic photography projects is designed to support the mental health and wellbeing of people across Northern Ireland, working with health trusts, communities and individuals.

Community

Belfast Exposed’s Community programme is focused on empowering communities through photography as a method for driving and documenting change through social engagement, seeking to address post-conflict issues, exclusion, diversity, poverty, unemployment, regeneration, enabling creativity, critical thinking and peace-building.

Youth

Belfast Exposed’s Youth programme is designed to support and empower young people to use photography to assist their personal growth, wellbeing, skills training and career development opportunities, including potential accreditation.
