Documenting Change

Gallery 2

5th Feb 2015 to 28th Feb 2015

About The Exhibition

Documenting Change is the theme of our 2015 Belfast Exposed Training Participant exhibition. This annual exhibition is a showcase of the work being created by a number of students who have taken part in our Stage Three training over the last year, ranging from Portrait, to Street and Documentary photography.

Belfast Exposed tutors Chris Barr and Jim Maginn set the theme of this year’s exhibition, Documenting Change. The emphasis is on how photography and the photographer have impacted broader society and self. Virtually no arena of human experience has been excluded from the process of change, from consumerism to politics, from self to the other. The artists involved become the agents of documenting that social change.
