About The Exhibition

Belfast Exposed invites you to view StreetView: Reflections, a project made in collaboration with women's community groups from across Belfast.

Working over several months with women from Ashton Community Trust, Extern, the Falls Women's Centre and the Greater Village Regeneration Trust, we combined images from the Belfast Exposed Archive with photographs taken by the women themselves, to allow participants to reimagine their communities and shared histories. There was a particular focus on women as leaders in their communities, both past and present.

The resulting collection of images, videos and photographic collages are on display via the StreetView installation.

Visit our YouTube page to hear from a couple of the participants at the launch on Saturday 29th October.
