About Belfast Exposed

Belfast Exposed, a registered charity situated in Belfast’s city centre, is Northern Ireland’s premier contemporary photograph organisation. Our galleries exhibit work by internationally renowned photographers, and also provide a platform for local and emerging photographers. We undertake community engagement and photography projects across Northern Ireland addressing exclusion, unemployment, increasing access, enabling creativity and critical thinking, by using the camera as a tool for driving and documenting change. We also have over 30 years experience delivering training courses to the public, and also provide bespoke courses for individuals, schools and businesses. Belfast Exposed has an extensive archive of photographs of the Troubles in Belfast and Northern Ireland, compiled over the past 30 years through contributions from professional and amateur photographers and communities.
