A major new photography exhibition and an accompanying programme of readings,
performances and talks exploring identity, cultural heritage and belonging in
Northern Ireland is set to open at Belfast Exposed on 15 April 2026 at 11.00am.

Presented in partnership with the Office of Identity and Cultural Expression, the
project forms part of the wider British? Irish? Either? Neither? (BIEN) programme
and brings together sixteen artists whose work reflects the complexity of cultural
identity across the region. Across three galleries at Belfast Exposed, the exhibitions
will present a powerful exploration of identity, culture, language, landscape and lived
experience through photography.

Launch: 15 April 2026, 11:00am – 12:00pm
Venue: Belfast Exposed, 23 Donegall Street, Belfast
Exhibition run: 15 April – 25 May 2026
Admission: Free and open to the public

The exhibition launch will be attended by artists and musicians involved in the project
and invited guests who are each curating aspects of the programme in April and
May. Guests will include Dr. Katy Radford, Director of the Office of Identity and
Cultural Expression.
