Colin will host a conversation with artists Joy Gerrard and Paul Seawright. 

This conversation is part of the ARINS: My Identity Podcast, hosted by Professor Colin Graham and produced by Dr Susie Deedigan.

Colin Graham is Professor of English and was formerly Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Celtic Studies, and Philosophy at Maynooth University.

He is the author of Northern Ireland: 30 Years of Photography, published by Belfast Exposed and the MAC in May 2013, Deconstructing Ireland (2001), Ideologies of Epic (1998), and was co-editor of The Irish Review from 2004 to 2020. Colin writes on literature, photography and culture.

He was founder and curator of the Illuminations gallery at Maynooth University, and is the presenter of the My Identity interviews and podcasts for ARINS and Royal Irish Academy.

He lives and farms in the Dublin mountains with his wife and their children.

Colin studied at Queen’s University Belfast and University of Bristol and has taught at the University of Huddersfield and Queen’s.
