BIEN: Poetry reading and ‘In conversation with…’

Nandi Jola is a poet, storyteller and playwright born in South Africa who has spent most of her life as a writer and performer in Northern Ireland.

Her collection ‘Home is neither here nor there’ explores themes of home, migration and the fragile relationships between humans, animals and morals.

Nandi will be in conversation with Professor Siobhan Campbell, a multi-award winning poet, author of six acclaimed books of poetry and editor of four collections.

Siobhan is a professor of poetry and creative practice at the Open University and has worked with refugees and veterans developing story gathering protocols.
