Richard Mills

Celebrating the life and work of award-winning photojournalist Richard Mills. Belfast Exposed is honoured to host a special exhibition in our Studio Gallery of work by the late Northern Irish photojournalist Richard Mills. Working as a front-line photojournalist, Mills worked on assignments in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Zimbabwe, capturing the plight of people living in the shadow of conflict and civil unrest. Having started his career as a commercial photographer, Mills broke into news photography via the Irish News, before working as a freelance photographer with the Times. This work saw him capture many of the images of unrest, conflict and humanitarian disaster featured in this exhibition. This exhibition will run from Tuesday 25th April to Saturday 29th April 2023 and will showcase some of Richard’s most outstanding work.
